the other day i was in class and they were talking about the separation of church in the 16th century and the professor asked me about it and of course i don’t remember shit nor care about it so i said “i’m jewish, I don’t know.” he said “it’s history, you should know about it” and i said “it’s your history, not mine. do you know about my people’s history? or the aboriginal people of our country’s history? the history that should matter to us? no. then i don’t care about your church’s history.” he finally said i was right but i could feel the hatred from so many classmates, it was awesome

Tina hates it when she has to be out of town for work on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Partly because she doesn’t like having to work on the High Holy Days, but if she’s honest?
