hi! I’ve been homeless for a while because my family disowned me for being trans. I wish there were a way for me to instantly stop being homeless but right now I don’t see a way out. i stay at an LGBT shelter but there’s a lot that my shelter doesn’t provide for its clients.
I’m still in college so I can’t have a year round job. I can, however, program websites and mobile apps! It’s hard for me to get freelance jobs, however, because I don’t have a degree or experience, even though I’m literally able to do the work.
An essay I sent into a scholarship contest for school was approved and is officially in the second round of the contest! But I need your help if I have any chance of winning. Essays with more “likes” on them have a better chance of getting noticed (if your’s becomes the “Audience Favorite”, you’re guaranteed a prize even if the final panel of judges doesn’t choose it, and lord knows I need whatever help I can get to pay for school).
So, I’m humbly asking you all for help. The essay that’s currently in the lead has 268 likes. I have over 3,000 followers on here. I think we can beat that. Maybe? Hopefully. It’s super easy, takes less than a minute, here’s how you can help a Pop out:

REASONS THIS IS TOTALLY WORTH DOING
#1. It helps me pay for college, and a financially stable Pop is a more productive and happy Pop.
#2. I can put it on college applications

The essay is about the difficulties young girls and women with undiagnosed ADHD due to sexism in the medical field face both during school and after they leave, and how their lives and the educational system as a whole can be improved if more time and effort were to be given to teaching faculty how to spot less-overt signs of this disability. That’s a topic worth supporting. Yes? Yes.

And lastly? He actually cares about helping people! He tries to help others so much, and that’s how he became what he is!
So, inCLUDE HIM!! Therearesomanyotherreasons to do so, but yeah! He provides an interesting dynamic with age and race, but also in his sarcastic and yet caring personality!!!

This is probably the best ukulele playing I’ve ever seen.
It’s always wild when people are amazed by proper Ukulele playing because what they consider “good” is whatever mainlanders are attempting to play while asserting some “quirky” vibe. Ukulele has become trendy on the mainland and people are amazed by what we consider BASIC skills and boring same chord repetition over and over. PLUS malihini don’t even pronounce the name right (what the fuck is a yuu-kuu-lay-lee hahaha).
Here in Hawaiʻi we are busting it out (like these killer wahines) every day in ways you can’t even imagine. Half my nā hoahānau play like this!
We stay laughing. These wahines choke deadly.
