the dragon was red, like passion and terrible love. he lived up to his name (as he was very red) as he started talking to me. “hey sexy,” he said in a very red voice.

red–thedragon:

the worst part of this is that i have synesthesia and i can tell you that the sound of red generally is the sound of a fork in a garbage disposal and that is definitely not what you were going for but i cannot stop laughingnggg

…the first thing that came to mind

Not to be that person but…. WE DO NOT DESERVE BRUCE WAYNE. He is a sweet sweet angelic idiot who pours money on us and gets kidnapped all the time but he still stays here, he still keeps the hospitals and foundations and the soup kitchens open. Honestly not that i don’t respect carrie fisher and superman, but the gotham version should be bruce wayne believes in you. What would bruce say? Will you disappoint our idiotic and well meaning happy-go-lucky philantropist man if you do this thing?

Once more, for those who weren’t aware yet:

  1. The subtitles on Rooster Teeth Youtube videos aren’t made by Rooster Teeth, they’re made by fans. That’s why they often have… I think they’re technically “jokes” in them. Those do not represent the intent of the original authors.

  2. These comments are also not funny. I mean, I guess that’s a matter of personal opinion, but come on, seriously, they’re not. But even leaving that aside:

  3. There are many people who actually do need subtitles, maybe because they have hearing issues, don’t speak english natively, are in a noisy environment or whatever. For us, these “jokes” are a very annoying distraction while we’re trying to understand the content we are actually here for.

  4. Please do not add such jokes to subtitles. Please do not encourage those who do. It’s literally making the video worse for many people in the fandom. And on the off-chance that you happen to be working for Rooster Teeth: Please start providing official subtitles on Youtube and most importantly your own site. If it costs too much then just cancel a podcast or two.

DBZ Abridged fans are doing it right: if you want to add funny commentary, add it to the English (Canadian) subtitle section and leave the regular English subs as actual subtitles, thanks.

I couldn’t rest until I made my vision a reality, we don’t have enough content of luke being a badass

The Clone Wars lean really heavily into classical fencing, so I always get surprised at how differently Luke fights with a light sabre. If you actually watch his footwork and his body he’s very brutal about it. Less grace and more power. It’s such a beautiful contrast, whether it was intentional or not.

Which is to say: good fucking post OP.
